Description
Aged between 3 to 5 months, this semi-hard cheese is easily recognizable by its white colour and blue veins. It has a compact yet crumbly and creamy texture and a strong salty and nutty flavour that lingers pleasantly on the palate
Serving suggestion: Blue cheeses with stronger flavors tend to go well with a bite of something sweet: slices of fresh pear or apple, a handful of grapes, dried figs or honey.
Storage: kept refrigerated at 2°C to 6°C
Ingredients: Pasteurised cow’s and sheep’s milk, salt, rennet, lactic starters, penicillium roqueforti
