A Natural and Traditional Process

From birth, these 100% Iberian pigs are raised with meticulous care. During their first months, they are nourished with natural cereals produced by expert farmers. Once they reach a weight of 40–50 kg, they are transferred to the dehesa—vast open pastures where they roam freely, feeding on grasses, roots, and tubers.

When the montanera season begins in October, acorns from the oak trees become the exclusive diet of the pigs. This nutrient-rich diet enhances the flavor and marbling of the meat, allowing the pigs to grow to their adult weight of approximately 180 kg.

The result? A tender, marbled loin with a delicate balance of fat, providing the rich juiciness and bold flavor that only 100% Acorn-Fed Ibérico Loin can offer.

Cured to Perfection

This loin is crafted following time-honored curing methods to achieve its unique taste and texture. The natural marbling, with soft golden tones and a deep, inviting red color, speaks to the exceptional quality of the product.

During the final stage of curing, the loin is gently smoked over oak charcoal, adding a persistent and unmistakable smoky aroma. Its flavor profile is a beautiful symphony of smoky notes, paprika, a subtle touch of garlic, and a hint of spice, creating a long-lasting, satisfying aftertaste.
